MOST GUYS ENJOY A CHALLENGE.
I’m one of them. I like to accomplish something that seems hard to attain. Something that makes me work hard and learn new things. Something that changes me for the better in the end.
Today marks the start date of one of those challenges.
The 6 Month Challenge presented by The King’s Men is a challenge to Christian men to become better equipped, more knowledgeable, and spiritually stronger men over the next 6 month. What’s involved in this challenge?
If a man participates, he will…
- Intentionally following a bible reading plan that will allow him to read the bible through in the 6 month time frame.
- Study the lives of 6 biblical warrior characters and find their strengths and weaknesses, and discover what he can learn and apply in his life.
- Develop a Family Crest that displays what traits and characteristics his family stands for.
- Memorize 10 scriptures that will strengthen his faith and cause him to be better equipped in battle.
- Review and discuss important topics like Tithing, Accountability, Prayer, and Purpose.

Strength & Honor.
The King's Men 
All I can say is, “WOW!” Yesterday felt so good to be in His presence practically all day long. My day consisted of, Sunday School at 0900, Service at 1045, home with my wife (always great) from around 1300 until around 1630, then back to the best place in the world where His presence is always felt- SFWC zone for “The Kings Men” Bible Study until roughly 2045. I just wanted to put that out there why MY day was so great. My time with God is the best time spent and then to be able to spend God’s time with other warriors is a bonus. Learning His word, bettering ourselves with wisdom and knowledge of God’s word and how to become the man of God that HE intended to be is so great! I would love for all men to get on board with this but there are some that are affraid to take that step. Well, some men jump out of planes, some wrestle alligators, some are in the military (deploying to dangerous areas of the world), etc… but are still affraid to take that step that God wants and WE NEED! I garauntee that if you die, doing all of that other stuff and die, you will NOT be saved without knowing God and believing in Him, but if you believe and trust in God and know that Jesus died on the cross for all of our sins….. man…… and then you die….. I bet you can’t guess where you get to spend eternity! IN HEAVEN. You have to live for God, not yourselves… if you are on this page, you probably already know how you need to live be saved, but there are so many out there that don’t. Let’s reach out and bring them in. Let’s do what God has called us to do. I love you and again all I can say is WOW, God is so good. I love what “The Kings Men” are doing and I want to ALWAYS be a part of this.
The six month challenge is on! The flesh will always fight or war against the Spirit in us, but we have victory over the world, flesh, and the devil. Gideon in Hebrew means he that cuts down. Let’s be men that cut down the altars of idol worship. If you are afraid, that’s fine because Gideon was too. Sometimes, we must do it afraid. But be courageous anyway, when your knees are knocking and your palms are sweating, be strong and courageous. You may think you can’t do it, but God said, “you mighty man of valor.” Fight!
