“Samson (Sunny or Sun-Hero)” by Justin Pearson

As men, we are drawn to a beautiful woman who wears a short skirt, bats her eyes, or whispers sweet things in the ears.  However, favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.  Like Samson, we are drawn to the wrong things or forget to read the fine print.  I have been enticed by the short skirts and the sweet whispers in my ears, and it almost got my eyes poked out! When your eyes are gone, you have no vision and can’t see where you’re going.  You are at the mercy of the person who must lead you around by the hand.  Samson lost his sight, his way, and it cost him his life.  We are anointed men of God, but we must be aware of the “Delilahs” who can come in our lives to whisper in our ears in order to take our anointing away.  Delilah means languishing in Hebrew.  Samson started strong but ended his life in a not so good way. Let God arise and His enemies be scattered in our lives! The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.  Give no place to the devil, resist him and he will flee from anointed, spirit filled men.

Love you men,

Justin
